This is a fine art print of the original watercolour & ink painting of Trancoso, a district in the municipality of Porto Seguro in the state of Bahia, Brazil.
The region was the landing point of the Portuguese explorer, Pedro Alvares Cabral in 1500. The Quadrado (town square) is a beautiful open area surrounded by colourful houses and a white church overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, they are all UNESCO protected. The white sandy beaches and pools formed by the low tie in the reef, are characteristic of this coastal town, aiding Trancoso's increasing popularity amongst tourist.
