The Justice Statue
This is a fine art print of the original watercolour & ink painting of The Justice statue in front of the Supreme Federal Court. The sculpture, found just outside the Supreme Federal Court, depicts a blindfolded woman seated with a sword across her lap; it signifies the power and fairness the court seeks to achieve. The building is the highest court of law in Brazil and was inaugurated during the colonial era in 1808, by the state was only commissioned in 2005 by Alfredo Ceschiatti.
