Royal Star & Garter Home, watercolour & ink painting
This is a fine art print of the original watercolour & ink painting of the Royal Star & Garter located at the top of Richmond Hill.
Previously a hotel it was repurposed as the Star & Garter Home to take care of sick and disabled ex-military men. It later received its royal charter in 1979, making it ‘Royal’. But this view is from the River Thames below, it is best viewed from the middle of the river, by hiring a boat from Richmond Bridge and entering: loved.lunch.adjust into what3words.com.
