This location is known for its music, dining, and nightlife, it's a city brimming with culture. The traditional dresswear are a colorful example of the city’s rich, cultural heritage and a link to the African history of Bahia. The dresses were first worn by slaves under the Portugese control after combining their African traditions with Catholicism in an attempt to abide by the rules while preserving their history.
