This is a fine art print of the original watercolour & ink painting of Tiradentes, in the state of Minas Gerais. THe city is found in the southeastern region of the state and nearby the southeastern coast of Brazil. The original village was established in 1702 and became a city on 19 January 1718. In 1889 the city was renamed from São José del Rey in honour of the national hero who was born nearby. The small city has become a picturesque destination acclaimed by tourists thanks to its unspoiled Portuguese colonial architecture. See it for yourself by going to what3words.com and entering: scuba.flings.repeating
