This is a fine art print of the original watercolour & ink painting of the Serra da Mantiqueira mountain range. Within the mountains Brazil's highest city is found: Campos do Jordão which is situated 1,628 metres (5,341 ft) above sea level. The name: Mantiqueira derives from a Tupi word meaning "mountains that cry", a reference to the large number of springs and streams found there. The mountain's flood plains flow to the Paraná River, which is one of the longest and most important in South America. There are multiple access points and beautiful trails to take, a visit is greatly recommended.
