This is a fine art print of the original watercolour & ink painting of the Richmond Bridge Arches on a calm summer's day.
Richmond Bridge was built between 1774 and 1777, making it the oldest surviving bridge of the River Thames, dating back to Roman times. It replaced a ferry crossing, connecting Richmond town centre on the east bank with the district of East Twickenham to the west. From the bridge, it is possible to walk, or even get a boat, as far as Hampton Court Palace.
