The building, formally known as the Palace of Justice Raymundo Faoro, is the seat of the Ministry of the Justice of the Federal Government of Brazil. The Palace, located in the federal district of Brasilia was inaugurated in 1972, and like most other building in the district was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer.
