This is a fine art print of the original watercolour & ink painting of the national park in the Chapada Diamantina region of the State of Bahia, Brazil.
The rugged mountainous terrain is of the Caatinga biome and has several peaks of 1,600 to 1,800 metres, and a few over 2,000 metres, with the highest point of the park, Pico do Barbado, being 2,036 metres. The national park IUCN protected area category II with the objectives of preserving the natural ecosystems, scenic beauty, enabling scientific research, and eco-tourism.
