This is a fine art print of the original watercolour & ink painting of the Iguazu Falls.
The falls are the result of the Iguazu River turning and being dissected by the Devil’s Throat, giving it the resemblance of a “J”. The falls are made up of the 275 drops, making it the largest waterfall system in the world, with the largest drop being 82m. Its peak flow rate can reach 45,700 m3/s, making it one of the five most potent waterfalls ever to exist. The river marks part of the border between Brazil and Argentina, including the Devil’s Throat, as a result, 95% of the Iguazu River basin lies in Brazil, but 80% of the falls lie in Argentina. Drawing more than one million visitors every year, the falls are the second most popular tourist attraction in South America.
